After a decade together, Lorraine and Sam celebrated with a wedding weekend that felt like home. From an intimate rehearsal dinner at The Wayne Mansion to a reception beneath moss-draped oaks, their celebration paired Southern elegance with personal details and a lively dance floor. Helping bring it all together were Allison Newton and Tara Davis of The Newton Collective, whose thoughtful planning and design made a lasting impression on the bride.
Thoughtful Design, Personal Details
Coastal blues, buttery yellows, and subtle nautical touches created a welcoming backdrop for the weekend. The design reflected the couple’s story while balancing an elegant setting with the playful spirit of their celebration.

Some of Lorraine’s favorite memories came from the most personal parts of the ceremony, including a surprise for Sam before her entrance. Asked to share her favorite wedding day memory, she said:
“Surprising Sam with a voiceover before walking down the aisle. Reading/sharing our vows with everyone. Of course the DJ, lights, and dancing!”
Those heartfelt moments gave way to an energetic reception, where music, lighting, and dancing brought a celebratory finish to the day.

Reflecting on what she learned while planning her wedding, Lorraine offered a reminder to enjoy the decisions along the way:
“How much fun it can be! Every decision/planning element is a moment to relish!”
