There’s nothing quite like a wedding in Savannah, especially when it blends classic Southern elegance with deeply personal traditions. Ryann and Dave’s spring celebration was the perfect example, beautifully captured by the one and only, Barefoot Royalty Photography.

The weekend began by welcoming loved ones from near and far with a private trolley tour of the city, giving guests the chance to soak in Savannah’s rich history and beauty. To make the experience extra special, each guest received a welcome bag filled with local favorites; Byrd’s cookies, Savannah Cheese Straw Company cheese straws, and custom wedding to-go cups for strolling the city in true Savannah style. The rehearsal dinner at Pacci inside the Kimpton Brice Hotel was an intimate gathering that set the tone for the meaningful celebration to come!

The ceremony took place at one of Savannah’s most iconic backdrops, the fountain at Forsyth Park. Officiated by the groom’s cousin, the heartfelt exchange of vows honored the couple’s love story in a setting as timeless as it was romantic.

Ryann and Dave found thoughtful ways to honor their families and traditions. Dave’s Jewish heritage was celebrated with the breaking of the glass, wrapped in one of his grandmother’s napkins. To honor Ryann’s late mother, a memorial chair with white roses was placed at the ceremony, while Ryann carried her mother’s wedding photo in her bouquet and wore her engagement ring. These details made the day profoundly personal and emotional.

After the ceremony, guests gathered at Garibaldi restaurant for an elegant reception filled with love, laughter, and family traditions. One highlight was the dessert table, featuring two meaningful cakes. To honor Dave’s Russian roots, the couple served a traditional Napoleon cake; a delicate, layered dessert made possible thanks to Katie of Auspicious Baking Co. Alongside it was a Southern classic, hummingbird cake, a nod to the wedding’s Savannah setting.

Every moment, from the first toast to the last dance, was documented with care by Barefoot Royalty Photography, who captured the day’s joy, romance, and thoughtful details in timeless images that the couple will treasure forever.

Ryann and Dave found countless ways to tie their personalities and love for Savannah into the day. Guests took home jars of honey from Capital Bee Company as favors, while reception tables featured custom-designed table tents that showcased Savannah’s original seven squares, complete with historical facts. These details gave guests an even deeper connection to the city and to the couple’s story.

From the intimate ceremony to the unforgettable reception, Ryann and Dave’s wedding was a reflection of who they are as a couple—thoughtful, family-oriented, and filled with love. Thanks to the talented team of Savannah vendors and the artistry of Barefoot Royalty Photography, every memory was beautifully preserved.
