A Mediterranean-Inspired Celebration Full of Color, Culture & Personality

Emilie & Kerem’s wedding was anything but your average celebration, and that’s exactly how they wanted it!

With deep roots in Mediterranean heritage and a shared love for vibrant, joyful design, the couple created a celebration that felt completely their own from start to finish. Their biggest goal? To avoid anything overly traditional and instead host a wedding that reflected their personalities, culture, and love for fun. Mission accomplished.

The festivities kicked off at Savannah’s Starland Yard, where guests were welcomed into a laid-back, high-energy atmosphere filled with great food and even better company. From there, the celebration continued at Victory North, where the couple’s vision truly came to life. Bursting with Mediterranean flair, the day was filled with rich hues of red, yellow, peach, orange, and soft greens, a color palette inspired by sun-soaked coastlines and family traditions.

One of the most charming details? Vintage tomato cans used throughout the decor … a playful nod to their heritage and a detail we couldn’t stop thinking about. 🍅🍊🍋 Even sweeter, family-made Italian cookies were shared as a heartfelt tribute to their roots, adding a meaningful (and delicious) personal touch!

Emilie looked stunning in a flowing tulle gown with delicate lace floral detailing, while her bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in soft yellow and light green hues, creating texture and movement that felt effortless. Every element came together beautifully thanks to Elegant Savannah Weddings, whose thoughtful planning brought the couple’s vision to life seamlessly!

The day was captured perfectly by Promised Land Arts, who documented every vibrant detail and joyful moment.

From start to finish, Emilie & Kerem’s wedding was a celebration of culture, color, and connection — proof that when you throw tradition out the window and follow your heart, the result is something truly unforgettable.

Congrats to the Çağlayans! 🍅🥂
