Kaitlyn and Michael’s wedding was a gorgeous heartfelt celebration of love and the undeniable charm of Savannah!

For bride Kaitlyn, a Savannah local, it was important to share the beauty of her hometown with out-of-town guests. “As a lifelong Savannah local, I wanted to make sure to incorporate its undeniable charm throughout our wedding day,” she shared. “My husband’s family lives in the North East, and I couldn’t wait to show off the timeless beauty of our city.”

They found the perfect venue at Savannah Bottle Works, a space that brought together the Savannah charm and warmth they were looking for. “We wanted a venue that would incorporate the city’s history, elegance, and whimsy. Savannah Bottle Works did just that,” Kaitlyn said.

Every detail of the day was intentionally chosen to reflect their story and the people who helped shape it. “My favorite part of the day was the incorporation of our friends and family through the whole experience,” Kaitlyn said. “The coordinating and florals were done by lifelong family friends, the ceremony was officiated by Mike’s cousin, the cake was made by a dear friend, heirloom crystal glasses gifted by Mike’s grandmother, and jewelry from my late grandmother was incorporated into my bouquet.”

The couple’s first look took place under the mossy oaks of Chatham Square; a peaceful and iconic setting that added to the beauty of the day. The joy on Mike’s face when he saw Kaitlyn was unforgettable. “That moment was everything,” she recalled. “We felt like we could finally exhale and just be present with each other.”

Their ceremony in the White Hall at Savannah Bottle Works was a true reflection of the Spring season, with tall windows letting in the perfect lighting, chandeliers sparkling overhead, and floral pillars of blush, ivory, and greenery framing the moment. “Walking down the aisle was surreal,” Kaitlyn said. “It felt like time slowed down, and all I could see was Mike.”

After the ceremony, the couple snuck away for a quiet private cake cutting, soaking in the joy together. Later, they slipped away again for golden hour portraits at Forsyth Park, dancing under the iconic oaks.

One of Kaitlyn’s favorite moments came at the very end of the night. “We had a private last dance after all the guests had exited,” she said. “It was just us, one last pause in the middle of everything, taking it all in.”

Then came their beautiful send-off, surrounded by bubbles, cheers, and the glow of love from their friends and family. “We truly felt the support from everyone around us, not just on the day itself, but throughout the planning. That meant everything.”

Kaitlyn and Michael focused on love and intention for their big day, and the result was a wedding day that was as meaningful as it was beautiful. “The most important thing for us was that it felt like us,” Kaitlyn said. “And it did. It really, really did.”
