On July 30th, we had the pleasure of celebrating a milestone we’ll never forget: the release of the inaugural 2026 Wed Society® | Savannah + Coastal Georgia Book of Weddings. Surrounded by so many of the talented wedding professionals, creatives, couples, and friends who make this community so special, the evening was a true celebration of everything we love about weddings in Savannah + Coastal Georgia.
The event took place at the beautiful Chateau 1800, where an airy, garden-inspired design brought the spirit of the new Book of Weddings to life. From the florals and food to the entertainment and interactive experiences, every detail came together to create an evening that felt as beautiful and welcoming as the community we were celebrating.
A Beautiful Setting at Chateau 1800
With its European-inspired architecture, expansive grounds, and lakeside setting, Chateau 1800 provided the perfect backdrop for the Book of Weddings celebration. The venue’s bright interiors and bright windows allowed the surrounding landscape to become part of the event design, while the reception space offered an elegant setting for members to gather, connect, and celebrate!
The event was thoughtfully planned by Elegant Savannah Weddings, who helped bring all of the moving pieces together and create an experience that felt polished without ever losing its sense of fun. Such an incredible and talented team!
Florals That Brought the Garden-Inspired Design to Life
One of the most memorable elements of the evening was the floral design by Sweetfield Flowers. Lush arrangements filled the space with layers of soft greens, peach, coral, blush, and white, creating an organic garden-inspired look that complemented the bright, airy setting beautifully!
From statement arrangements surrounding the tables to floral installations throughout the venue, the flowers added color, texture, and movement to nearly every corner of the celebration. The thoughtful use of blooms made the entire space feel fresh, joyful, and distinctly coastal Georgia.
Sweet Treats, Cocktails & Plenty to Enjoy
Members were treated to an assortment of delicious bites and sweets throughout the evening thanks to Cha Bella Catering and D’Flavor Custom Cakes.
The dessert display was almost too pretty to eat, featuring an assortment of miniature desserts, delicate cakes, and a stunning tiered cake display. Savi Gelato also brought a fun frozen-sweets experience to the celebration, giving guests another way to cool off and indulge.
Behind the bar, Formosa Bar kept guests refreshed throughout the evening with cocktails that fit right in with the colorful, summery atmosphere.
A Celebration of Creativity
The evening was about more than simply celebrating the release of a magazine—it was a chance to highlight the incredible creativity within Savannah + Coastal Georgia’s wedding community.
Members enjoyed live sketches by Art by Amy, adding a personal and artistic touch to the celebration, while Paint and Poems brought custom poetry to the experience.
Entertainment by Versamix Music helped keep the celebration lively, while Bride’s Side Beauty was among the talented professionals helping make the evening feel extra special.
The Moment We Had Been Waiting For
Of course, one of the biggest moments of the evening was finally revealing the inaugural 2026 Wed Society® | Savannah + Coastal Georgia Book of Weddings.
After months of planning, collecting beautiful wedding inspiration, working alongside local vendors, and bringing the first edition to life, seeing the finished book in members’ hands was an incredibly special moment!
The Book of Weddings celebrates the couples, venues, and wedding professionals that make this region so remarkable, and getting to share the finished product with so many of the people featured within its pages made the launch even more meaningful.
Capturing the Evening
Every detail of the celebration was beautifully documented by Amia Marcell Photography. From the florals and tablescapes to candid conversations, cocktails, desserts, and the excitement surrounding the book reveal, her images captured the energy and personality of the evening so beautifully.
Members could also capture their own memories with The 912 Photo Booth, while Dalton Rice Art captured the celebration on film wonderfully!
