Summer & Beau: A Small Sea Island Wedding
Summer and Beau’s Sea Island micro-wedding was intimate, elegant, and full of personal meaning. Set against the natural beauty of the Georgia coast, their day brought together classic white florals, a romantic courtyard ceremony, thoughtful details, and the sweetest guest of honor: their golden retriever.
The ceremony space felt timeless and refined, with white chairs lining a brick aisle scattered with petals and a lush floral arch framing the couple’s vows. Surrounded by their closest family, Summer and Beau exchanged “I do” in a setting that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
For Summer, the most meaningful part of the day was simple: “Spending time with our family and dog. Seeing our dreams come to reality.” Their pup played a special role throughout the celebration, from portraits with the couple to a custom signature cocktail sign inspired by their four-legged family member.
The design leaned into soft, classic romance with white blooms, greenery, delicate cake details, and coastal-inspired touches. After the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with signature cocktails, portraits around the Sea Island grounds, and golden-hour photos by the water.
When reflecting on the planning process, Summer shared one piece of advice: “Don’t stress the small stuff. It’s about the experience.” And that is exactly what their wedding captured. More than just beautiful details, the day felt like a true celebration of love, family, and the life they are building together.
Captured beautifully by Esther Griffin Photography, every moment felt effortless and emotion-filled. When asked about her favorite vendor, Summer shared, “Esther – she was so talented and such a calming presence during a busy day”
